Photographer’s Note
The State Hermitage (Russian: Государственный Эрмитаж) is a museum of art and culture situated in Saint Petersburg, Russia. One of the largest and oldest museums of the world, it was founded in 1764 by Catherine the Great and open to the public since 1852. Its collections, of which only a small part is on permanent display, comprise nearly 3 million items, including the largest collection of paintings in the world. The collections occupy a large complex of six historic buildings along Palace Embankment, including the Winter Palace, a former residence of Russian emperors. Apart from them, the Menshikov Palace, Museum of Porcelain, Storage Facility at Staraya Derevnya and the eastern wing of the General Staff Building also make part of the museum. The museum has several exhibition centers abroad.
Out of six buildings of the main museum complex, four, namely the Winter Palace, Small Hermitage, Old Hermitage and New Hermitage, are partially open to the public. The other two are Hermitage Theatre and the Reserve House.
I've tried to show this world famous building in a different way.
I hope you like the picture
Best Regards
Víctor

Hi Victor,
Neat perspective. I love the use of the puddle to reflect the building. You should include a workshop showing the normal view. It looks like an interesting building. Too bad the puddle wasn't a little bigger. Thanks.

Hi Victor,
A fantastic reflection of this famous Museum in a simple rain puddle!
You present us with a very sharp presentation turned upside down!
The colors are well saturated!
Great creativity with splendid results!
Well done.

Hello Victor
You have captured the Hermitage brilliantly in this puddle. The reflection is sharp and clear and there is just enough to identify the building. However you have said the Hermitage is in Moscow - you need to change the location, Marlene

Hola Victor,
Me alegra ver que todavía haces visitas a TE y que aún te queda tiempo para viajar y hacer fotos. Rusia, Turquía...No vives mal, no. Bueno, yo tampoco.
Mirari
