Generally,you can carry MORE information in a GLASS FIBER than in a copper cable(needs less material so better for INVIRONMEN),
Glass comes from sand, coper has to be exctracted from NON-RENEWABLE SOURCE.

Hi Marine,I thought at first glance this was multi coloured spaghetti.Abstract image open to interpetation,it suffers a little from being rather small on my screen anyway ,would like to see a larger version. Imaginative approach to this subject. Thanks Tom.

I have seen some of the pictures of your gallery and I like your messages, in which you show to be concerned about ecology.
Regarding the title of this picture, do you try to say that optic fiber is better for the environment than other cables? I didn't know it.
I like your picture that shows an unusual view with this big colorful tangle of cables.
