Photographer’s Note

On the coast of the lake Como there are many little beautiful towns. My favorite view was of Torno, 4,5 miles up the North east side from the Como. This medieval village has the usual attractive collection of ancient buildings including the sixteenth century Villa Pliniana and the church of San Giovanni. The broader view is also beautiful.

Czesc Malgorzata! Nastepna swietna panorama miasta nad jeziorem u stop gor. Piekne swiatlo, piekne kolory, doskonala ostrosc. Swietna perspektywa. No i calkiem oryginalna ramka. Klaniam sie!

Hi Malgorzata,
A wedge of red and white stuck between two deep blue layers! This is really a very attractive scenery. You have also balanced the composition very good with the church at the right position and the bright red house next to it is also a fine eye-catcher!

This is another wonderful village . Nice contrast (but may be a little too much ?) of the red roofs with the almost blue background , and the blue water .
It must be a beautiful trip ...

Hello Malgorzata,

You can impress me with compositions, light and strong colours and that last one is just what you did. The colours smell like Fuji Velvia 50, strong, bold, high contrast en very deep saturated....how i love to see that. It's the red against the blue who fught for best places while here in my opinion the red rooftiles are winning...how beautiful.
Maybe you could cut off a part from the bottom, but further not much to complain, it looks damn good on the colours..!!!

Hi Malgo,maybe the saturation is a little over the top..ehhee..i prefere the naturals colors of the WS's view,but the details ,the sharpness and the point of view are the best way to show this other beautiful pearl of the Como lake,i'm happy that you found a lot of sun in these days...today is raining! Probably shot by a boat...blue and red, an ever effective cromatic combination. The village stads out wonderfully from the background, like an actor on a stage. Bright and livey, and a plasure to see.

What a beautiful place, great, amazing colors. Good details, very clear. I like the photo.
I think that in the composition I would have cropped a bit of lake. I did a simple WS, I hope you dont mind.

Hello Malgorzata,
Indeed, a very beautiful place to visit.
The picture has an excellent sharpness and the vivid colours of the houses and their roofs make the village stand out fantastic on the dark background of the forested mountain slope.
The POV from on passing boats allows to see the church on the quayside very well.

Olá Malgorzata, this is very good. Superb colors and light, very beautiful view of Torno, great contrast with the mountain in the shade. The WS is a good complementar image showing the lovely mountains all around the lake.

You magnificently isolated this little town so well lit between the blue colors of the mountain and the water.

Lovely place with the red tiled roofs contrasting with the blue/green on the BG. The steady slope up along the roofs is also interesting. Good contrast with the blue water in the FG. well done!

What's a sense putting a photo describe the objects which are not seen?
Villa Pliniana and the church of San Giovanni are out of view. Or you didn't know it?
