Photographer’s Note
Growing pineapples along the caldera slopes of Taal volcano.
I took this photo just this morning. The light was great, lighting the clear slopes of the old crater and the pineapple plantation before me and the perfect cloud formation. The only challenge was crossing the dangerous highway with speeding cars and trucks and choosing the best spot. Crossed back to the other side of the highway to get tripod then I realized I forgot to bring the connector for the tripod, silly me. Crossed the dangerous highway again to the chosen spot and took the shot at the edge of the ridge while vehicles sped by two feet behind me and spent some time just enjoying the view and hoping someone will come out of the house. No luck this time...
The bright features at the right portion of the lake are fish pens. Somehow, the fishes have adapted to live in this sulfuric environment.

Hi Alex,
An amazing scene adorned with fantastic lighting!
There's depth of field and the vertical format is helping thus!
The clouds at the background are marvellous and they're casting a heavenly light!
Great capture.

Francis Xavier

Hello Alex,
A fine view in darker yet natural colours. Beautiful shades of green and play of light and shadows, with a wonderful landscape in the background. The red roof brings the view to life.

Paul

hi alex,
vertical presentation of this capture makes it so pleasing to
reminisce this Tagaytay scene for me. i am not so lucky to have such a fine day with my prior visits there (it always rained!). the details are clear, crisp and the natural colors, so appealing!it looks like the best time to go visit is May-June, huh? Maganda and dating!

Hi Alex,
Colors and lights are particularly beautiful.
The house with this red and the white clouds bring two nice zones of contrasts. It is very well centred with the shadow area of the foreground.
A great shot.
Congratulations
Diane
(I find that you maybe added just a little too much neatness, but it's not important!!!)
