Photographer's Note

We continue the visit of the Prieuré Saint-Gabriel. After presenting the church yesterday, here is a view of other buildings of the dwelling, built between the eleventh and the sixteenth century.
They are in bad shape for a long time before being bought by Mr Emmanuel Fauchier Delavigne in 1911. Then begins a long period of rehabilitation of the Priory.

Since 1929, it is a private building hosting a high school of horticulture. The visit of the exterior and gardens is very pleasant.
The court, planted with apple trees, allows an overview of the buildings.

Also note that the Priory will remain in history, since this place has turned into a military camp for British soldiers during the Débarquement 1944.
