Photographer’s Note
This is a pano of a country road near Paul Lake, British Columbia, was inspired by the great cloud formations against the clear blue sky. That, along with the green pastures and mountains made this "pull over to the side of the road" image a fun one to take.
With my wide angle lens set to 16mm in portrait mode, I took 9 pictures. The portrait mode helped collect the road, the fields, the top of the clouds, and of course the sun.
There was a challenge with keeping the sun as natural looking as possible while doing the stitching. The movement of the camera would alter the way the rays reflected out from the sun, causing some distortion. But for the rest, I'm happy with result.
By the way, I find that the inclusion of the road helps in giving a sense of size and distance . . .

cool picture! I really like driving around Paul Lake, beautiful country. I really like the sun in there.
I wouldn't mind seeing a little more of the landscape and I think without the road it would have a more natural and "out there" feel to it.
nice work though!
