Photographer’s Note
Near Trafalgar Square - just crossing the road when i noticed an articulated bus approaching through the traffic - there were strong reflections in passing car windows so i figured there would be a great canvas to photograph when the bus arrived - timed my shot to include the passing cyclist to add human interest - the line down the frame is the articulated part of the bus.
One of my daughters was involved in 'Critical Mass' a regular Sunday event in the city to 're-claim' the roads for cyclists in safety - massed cyclists would gather and control the flow of traffic to their speed - not a big favourite of motorists or the police who would pounce on them the moment they stopped in the road - they had to keep moving all the time (except at traffic lights of course!)

Hello Kev,
A great composition, which takes good advantage of the distortions offered by the bus windows. The cyclist's face is delightful! A well conceived image full of dynamism and totally summing up London's traffic problems.

Hi Kev, what an enthralling yet scary puzzle! Quite a challenge indeed on many accounts! Great timing - I like how you caught the driver of the available cab, sign separated in two, and the relaxed face on the cyclist. She looks to be taking it all in her peddle :) All the best, Casper

A very dynamic dramatic reflection of traffic , the cyclist's face making the point that roads are not just for cars but for the adventurous. I like reflections and this one is exceptional.

This is really original ! One of the best and non standard reflection pictures I have ever seen.

not an easy piece of cake to swallow, this one, kev... but i do like it, somehow - the distorted world, "disappointed" face of the "struggling" cyclist... it all makes sens as a photo that tells the story...
best, j.

This is a really good 'urbanscape' Kev...
One of the most interesting I've seen in quite a while...
That pole in the middle of it...?
Well... It's an element of the urban chaos in there, yet - it bothers a little.
Maybe just the sheer size of it ?
Other than that - a delightful city flavor ! ( In full colors - that is)

Great colourful mess! I like a lot the deformed woman with her bike on the left, is like she is being opressed by all this crazyness!
