Photographer’s Note
Another beautiful spring afternoon shot of the impressive 18th century cathedral of the diocese of Oradea (Grosswardein/Nagyvárad), founded by the king of Hungary, St. Ladislaus, in the 11th century.
I tried to give a sense of the scale of this structure from this dramatic angle and get some sort of framing in respect with the geometry of the building.
I hope it worked.
The picture was taken with my digital camera and edited in Photoshop (resized, brightness and contrast, sharpened, frame, saved for web)

Imagine captata dintr-un unghi extrem de avantajos, culoare predominanta ii confera o nota de prospetime si modernism.

This is a church was recently raised to the rank of basilica by direct ordonance of the Pope, I use to work in the same courtyard as a curator at the former Catholic Bishopric Palace, an outstanding Austrian baroque bulding hosting the state museum. This church is hosting a splint from the skull of St. Ladislaus, as you said the founder of Hungary. You should`ve gotten the bishops bronze statue a try too, it was 100 yard on the laft side of the door of the basilica.
