Photographer’s Note

This photo was taken on a wonderful hike yesterday in the outskirts of my city. As you can see all trees are green now - even the oaks which always are the last ones.

I think it's interesting to see the same place exactly 4 month ago. Please look here.
There has happened a lot the last time ... ;-)

Why not, when the scenery is wonderful like in here? I really like the vivid green hues. What a difference spring can make!Well done.

Hi, Frank. The greens in your picture are really beautiful, expressing all the freshness of spring. I like to see the way snaking through the image and creating a nice perspective.

Guten morgen Frank,

Seeing this and the winter scene i prefer this one. So many colours of green, fresh and bright, i like that, gives a pure spring feeling and a new born world comes alive. That path looks great in the composition and for me this works great without a human element, it's now very serene and peaceful.

The dominating green - very pleasant indeed - had it beauty enhanced by the excellently chosen pov and the wonderfully elaborated composition, with the pathway, the tree trunks and branches and that fence so perfectly placed in the frame!
That's a lovely, very pleasant and truly beautiful photograph!

This is a well composed shot using the winding road to lead the eye through the shot. The shades of green are outstanding here creating a springtime wonderland. The repeating pattern formed by the trees and fence posts help give the shot direction. The muted lighting is great giving us a soft, tranquil scene.

Yes, why not! This looks exactly like the places we remember from Rothaargebirge, a very pleasant road to walk along. And also very interesting and fascinating to see this same place with snow. You will probably have to here in autumn to take a new photo for the sake of comparisons ;)

Wieder dieses tolle,kräftige Grün,Frank.
Das gibts nur im Frühling und aus Deiner Kamera.
Schön wie sich der Weg ins Tal schlängelt.In so einer Umgebung macht das Wandern Spaß,auch im Winter,wie Dein link zeigt.

Hallo Frank,
wunderschön! Diese grünen Töne sind großartig. Und dieser geschwungene Weg lädt förmlich ein.... Bei Deiner note musste ich allerdings schmunzeln, hier bei uns ist die Esche der letzte Baum gewesen, der ergrünte, getreu nach der alten und eigentlich immer zuverlässigen Bauernregel: " Grünt die Eiche vor der Esche, hält der Sommer große Wäsche."

Hi Frank, how the seasons change in such a short time. This photo is like out of a Grimm's Fairytale. I imagine Little Red Riding Hood or Hansel & Gretel to walk out of the bushes any moment. The winding path gives us that air of mystery. The greenery is beautifully exposed and the line of trees give us a lovely symmetry. Congratulations on an excellent shot, Lisa.

tolle Veränderung, und ein Weg der sich hervorragend zum 4-Jahreszeiten-Bild eignen würde, kannst ja mal eine Mini-Serie draus basteln, nehme an es handelt sich um einen der klassischen "den Weg nehme ich immer" Wege..

This wonderful view is very similar to what I saw one spring in the Böhmerwald. It remained in my mind as a picture of a German forest.
