Un chemin de fer abandonné bordé par une ancienne usine. Il y a 50 ans, ce même lieu était très prospère et débordant d'activités. Aujourd'hui c'est le calme plat.

An abandoned railroad bordered by an old factory. 50 years ago, this place was really prosperous and overflowing activities. Today it's really calm and quiet.

Hello Denis,
I like the contrasting colours of the golden yellowed grass and rusty rail tracks and the crip white and blue of the sky. Good persepective, the viewer's eye naturally follows along the curve of the railroad. Well composed.

Salut Denis,
Magnifique prise de vue et belle couleurs d'automne au printemps. Notre regard suit le vieux chemin de fer jusqu'au tournant et nous amène à la jolie petite tour. Bonne composition et beau contraste de couleurs.

Bonjour Denis,

La courbe des rails est un atout à la composition. Les arbres et l'usine cadrent bien les rails. La prise de vue dirige notre regard vers les arbres en arrière-plan ce qui donne de la profondeur à la photo. La lumière de fin de journée donne de belles teintes aux couleurs. Bon weekend

I like the POV you took catching the tracks disappearing and around the corner, Good golden color contrast on the rails and under bush. Nice natural and appealing shot Denis.

Hi Denis,
The beautiful varying golden tones to the wild grass and the rust on the railraod tracks are wonderfully complimented by the soft blue sky.
Beautiful brooding quality to this abandoned landscape.

Excellent light quality here. It really brings out the gold and brown tones. The track curving off to the right leads the eye into the image towards the old factory. Nicely composed.

Salut Denis,
Calmness, beautiful colours, a great sense of perspective. It doesn't look such a photogenic place, at least seen from this POV, but the fact is that you achieved a great photo. Maybe it's because of the warm tones of the sun and the dry grass, but it looks much more like having been shot in Summer than in Spring.

La couleur or donne appuit a l`histoire et la solitude des lieux. Très bon pov et raffraichissement de la contraste. La cheminée carré est bien localisée.

I really like the way you've framed the curve of the track leading into the photo; the brick tower provides a nice visual destination. The late light turns the grass to gold.
