Photographer’s Note

Every morning on Ngapali Beach women cover the sand with blue nets and wait for men coming back with tons of little fish. Then the ballet begins. They start throwing the fishes on these blue nets so that they dry under the sun all day long.

A superb daily life shot with a nice decisive moment freezing the fish being thrown onto the blue drying mats. Good colour & sharpness & the womans adds a welcome human element. Beau travail et amities!

Très belle gestuelle et attitude Vincent. Juste au bon moment ! je suis un peu gêné par l'arrière plan, je me demande si je n'aurais pas opté pour un format plus allongé , encore plus dynamique en le supprimant

voila une belle action figée sur les pixels, le bleu des filets y est toujours aussi beau, le fond flouté isolé à peine le sujet mais la lumière est tellement douce que ce léger contre jour est magnifique

I like it.

The freeze of action. It is really very effective capture using fast shutter to catch her in this superb pose which cannot be seen easily.

:) I am not sure if you got this at 1st shot or she was repeating this action many times for you to practice your shots to get it right? I think you got it 1st time :) knowing your skill.

I like the blue of the ground.

A very nice provincial scene with a human participant caught in action. I wish I have taken the picture myself as it is similar to scenes I see in the Philippines, excepth the netting is in dark gray and not as colorful as this blue ones. I made a Workshop for you with a very minimal subtle change.

Wow! Look at all the fish! This is quite the process, and really well documented. You've got this one timed perfectly....and very clear, not an easy task at all. But I see the light is strong, so that helps. I also see you had to shoot almost into the sun, with really great results....I can learn from this! A fabulous steady shot from daily life, the colors light and mood are just perfect and I liked the way you have placed the lady towards the right with that left leg up in the air...too good. Her dress goes well with the bright blue base, however I would suggest that you could have cropped the frame from top, the dark blurred distant background is not needed, try that.

Bel instant et joli mouvement parfaitement saisi. J'aime beaucoup le dynamisme que cela donne à l'image. En voyant la vignette, j'ai cru que cette personne se trouvait les pieds dans une eau bleu turquoise. Cette couleur attire l'oeil.

This is a very nice shot, I like it, nothing better than to see someone doing there daily work and having fun goind it. Unlike our work in the office in a nice air condition and comfortable seat, and yet people are still complaining about how hard it is. It must smell very fishy. Lovley colors and light, perfect moment, like the little fishes are flying.

comme sur ta précédente photo,ces merveilleuses couleurs bleues sont toujours présentes,ce qui donne une atmosphère assez irréelle!J'adore le mouvement de cette jeune femme,et le moment précis où le poisson vole et n'a pas encore touché terre!Cet étalage de poisson sur toute la plage est d'ailleurs vraiment incroyable,j'imagine que ce n'est pas une plage pour touristes!

Cette photo est tres originale par son sujet mais aussi par la presence de ces filets bleus qui donne un fort aspect visuel.
En plus, tu as saisi l action au vol ce qui donne beaucoup de vie.

This is a great image of daily life. You captured the ritual in mid flight and it really makes the scene work. I like her smile, was she smiling for the camera or enjoying her work? Composition is spot on the money - the BG adds so much to the story you are telling. All of the technicals are right where they belong. Well done!
