I look at this picture and think "America is one of the richest countries in the world?" I am still a passport carrying American even though I'm not a resident, and this picture makes me sad for the country I left. Of course there is graffiti in Europe too, and even abandoned houses, but where I live, one generally doesn't find them in the middle of a city, where street lights are used. Technically, nice shot. I like the use of a street lamp as the main source of light. It makes things seem even a bit more bleak. Nice post.
Sincerely,
Kate

Hi Jo!
I somehow like this, maybe because it is not the stereotypical American corner shown always in the internet.

Joseph, good evening.
A socially interesting picture, I can't decide if it would be better with someone in it or not. Which every way it is good. It is so easy to take nice tourist type pictures of places, but I think these types of places need to be shown so that people realise that they exist.
All the best

Hello Joseph,
Another photo respiring an atmosphere of desolateness and solitude with the darker colours, the grafitti, the dark sky and the street lantern providing a weak source of light.
Regards,
Paul
