Photographer’s Note

The Old City Hall of Szczecin. This building is a picturesquely decorated Gothic city hall from the mid XV century. It was reconstructed in Baroque style in the XVII century. It ceased to be the municipal city hall in 1879. Since 1975 it has housed the National Museum (the City History Section), which displays Szczecin’s history from the early middle ages to modern times.

What a strange architecture1 I've never seen such a style before! A city hall? It looks more like a church...
Anyway you got a splendid light here so the colour and texture of the bricks are wonderful. Quite an original image fine and interesting.

dear Mikolaj Kawa,
an eccentric design and warping figure are very impressive.
"pencil-lattice" towers are so unique, but in my feeling, maybe it is a problem of structural defect, for long time, this warping becomes to appear...like Torre di Pisa.
(I saw this kind of interesting warping in the reflection on the mirror, but it was in the image not objective of course)
anyway whole style, especially green decorations on the orange brick wall are excellent.

HEllo Mikolaj, what a strange architecture style!! I've never seen something like this. It is realy wonderful. I see some distortion or is the building not straight? I also would like to see more at the lower part but maybe there were disturbing objects (like cars) and youchoose to crop it like this. Thank for showing us this marvellous architecture work.

Beautiful shot of a beautiful building. Gothic brickwork always looks outstanding. I definitely like how the red bricks stand out against the cool, blue background. One small note of criticism is that there appears to be a bit of distortion.
