Photographer’s Note

Here is another view of the same place I posted yesterday. I was walking around Violão lagoon, coming back to the bus station to take my bus. These aquatic birds were resting and they like to stay with their wings open wide, trying to make them less humid. Anyway we can watch the drops of rain falling in the water surface yet.
Tomorrow I will show you the lands in the deepest Brazilian south, the place where I found sunny days during that trip, after have faced so many storms in the begining.

Mais uma vista do mesmo local que eu postei ontem.Eu estava caminhando às margens da lagoa do Violão, seguindo para a rodoviária, onde tomaria meu ônibus. Estes pássaros estavam descansando, eles gostam de ficar de asas abertas tentando diminuir a umidade sob elas. Como a gente pode ver os pingos de chuva ainda atingiam a superfície da água. Amanhã começarei a mostrar a vocês imagens do extremo sul brasileiro, local onde encontrei dias ensolarados depois de tantos dias de chuva como aqueles com que me deparei no início desta viagem.

Esta está excelente, com nitidez de primeira, exposição e profundidade perfeitas, ponto de vista escolhido e composição magníficos! Você também esperou o melhor momento para fazer a cena e gostei bastante principalmente dos reflexos e das texturas na superfície da água!

Very nice natural photo and really great reflections on water.
Only the barbed wire spoils the natural effect of it, but still very interesting.

Esta otra foto me gusta aun mas que la anterior, con todos esos pajaros, el precioso verde del agua con tan bonitos reflejos y esas plantas acuaticas en la orilla, un gran POV para esta toma.

Outra bonita imagem desses patos na lagoa. O de asas abertas tentando se aquecer no tempo nublado ficou bem legal. Gostei também do enquadramento ficando os patos bem posicionados na imagem.

muy buena composicion! me gusta mucho los pajaros posando en los postes, otro punto interesante es el efecto de luz claro-oscuro del agua, muy buen trabajo!

Hello Jorge,

Seems like it is a flooding going on as the fence is in the middle of the water!
The frame itself appears like in the middle of deep rain forest but the reflected building betrays the location hehehe...
A balanced composition with good colours & details!

Olá Jorge, bem melhor esta do que a anterior. Além de vermos um conjunto de 4, temos aquele de asas abertas em destaque e com foco perfeito. Belos reflexos e detalhes das plantas também.

pra te falar a verdade, jorge, gostei mais dessa do que daquela com a ave solitária. as cores estão quentes, o reflexo está divino.
Acho que tomamos café em frente a esta lagoa numa daquelas manhãs geladas, mas não estou certa. belo lugar, Torres...

hello Jorge,
love the lush green tones, that's exactly how I imagined parts of Brazil would look like. good idea to go for a fairly tight framing, leaving out the sky emphasises the feeling of being in the middle of the rain forest. very nice work, I like it.
