Photographer’s Note
This is Newcastle Town Hall, located in the cities Civic Precinct and built in 1929.
I love the Architecture in this precinct and thought it might be interesting to get out and try a night exposure with my new Canon 450D. The benifit of this was also avoiding the parked cars constantly filling the road in this busy area during the day.
I hope you like the shot, Fairly happy with it for my first of this type for many years. The final shot is composed of two images, with the car lights layered over an exposure taken just before allowing me to mask out some of the blured noise created by the passing cars.

Hi Dylan
Nice long exposure shot with the star effect from the lights and the car light trails. The town hall is a lovely building. I agree that to get the most of the building waiting for the cars to be gone and taking this night shot is well worth it. TFS
Cheers
Jude
