Photographer’s Note
I have hesitated for several days wondering it is worth posting this one. Earlier, Santo(Skippy007) and Andrew(Macondo) have posted the front view of the same row of these boats. Now, this is the backside view. I don't know about you when you look at this, but the idea of hip and bikini suddenly comes to my mine just as the photo gets uploaded. Hence the title. I hope it is not offensive in anyway.
This was taken after having our cakes and coffee at the boathouse behind me when the rain finally relented

Hi Alfred,
I like it! I think the perspective is good showing the series of boats, the visual effect is very interesting, great colours and sharpness, well done!
Best regards

Hi Alfred,
Very interesting that f/8 nearly carried the DOF all the way way through the frame even at 116mm focal length. A good thing for me to remember.
Your POV using the stacked image with all the boats works well, so too the composition with the lazy "S" the transom of the boats form. Although you had very flat light, (it doesn't appear to be raining in your capture), the image quality is very good.
Looking at Santo's and Andrews captures, the three of you didn't stray too far from the warmth of the coffee and cakes.

Peter

Hello Alfred, All those boats in line formed an interesting pattern, also interesting is how we all saw it differently even though we were all pretty close to each other, because of the miserable weather we didn't venture too far from the comforts of the cafe. Those two water hens in the corner are a good inclusion. The light was poor but you managed a good image with natural looking colours.

Hi Alfred, I'm glad you decided to post this. It another interesting POV of the subject. I love the symmetry here and your image is admirably sharp. I like the duck in the FG too. TFS and have a wonderful week, Lisa.

Hello Alfred
At first, I thought it was a huge platform but then realised these are boats ;))
Although the light was not at its best, we can see well their details...the texture of the water with the sky reflection in it is very interesting...
Have a nice day

Hi Alfred.
Just caught up with your shot of our walk around Yarra Bend. I have something similar to this, as I fired away willy nilly for about 10 minutes at these boats - about the only photogenic thing we found that rainy day. Nice curvy line made by the boats' sterns, and good sue of the aperture to create just a tiny amount of blurring. The birds are a bonus in the corner! Nice work.
Regards,
Andrew
