Photographer’s Note
This is a sculpture on the side of the Eureka Tower, called Queen Bee, created by Richard Stringer. There are several large golden bees, and this one is the biggest - the queen bee. It is probably 4 metres long (hard to tell because it is a long way up). The light of the setting sun helped to bring out the golden colour.

Hello Vincent,
Nice POV on this giant bee. I really like the way the setting sun illuminated the wings in gold. I also like the graphism of all of the different lines from the building that it is perched in front of.

Hi Vincent, nice shot of this sculpture with the evening light giving it that warm colour. That it is sharp enough to see the rivets and numerous plates works well, suggesting a mechanical bug. I like the matching frame colour too. BTW I work in the IBM building just near Eureka. cheers, Steve
