a classical and very beautiful composition with fore-, middle and background, layers reaching the middle from left or right.. the person is well placed here, and his thought to have a nap is clearly to see...5 sec. later he was already laid down :)
I´m glad you liked this place, where the channel leading to the city center meets the lake..

Hello Melinda,

What a tranquil area, and you have created a painting of it. The seated man deep in contemplation adds to the atmosphere. I think I might reduce the greens just a little bit, but the composition and perspective are first rate, as is the resolution.

Hallo Melinda. Was für ein schönes und beschauliches Motiv, was für eine wundervolle Landschaft. Irgendwie erinnert es mich an den Maler Spitzweg.
