Photographer’s Note
5.35 on a Friday afternoon. The sun is setting as workers leave the hard week of work behind them and head through the carpark to go home and look to the weekend.
Extra Notes: Slightly increased contrast. Colour was left untouched. I originally posted this on TL but decided TE was better, to me this photo sums up the end of the working week just perfect and captures a feeling that we all experience.

Wow! great colour! when I first looked at it I thought that some one used an amber filter or something, but this shot is great! Good shot with the concept and mood. Excellent work. Have you tried bumping up the level to bring out the works or is that not the desired effect? Just an idea

Very good capture, I like how the shadow is reflected on this wall, good colors also.

A very artistic and well composed one, Brendan. The shadow, the EXIT sign and the colors are very well arranged here. Very good play with the brightness and contrast parameters. Excellent.

I like it very much but to be frank I don´t undestand the upper part. There is a horisontal change of color and a grid from a window, I just don´t understand what I see as I thought that was a sky or sunset fog.
But as a picture it is lovely, the bottom part with the shadow (first thought - silhouette). There is a fine contradiction that adds interest and curiousity as the sign says "Exit left" but the guy is going to the right.

Lovely lighting and shadows, really captures the feeling of relief one has at the end of the working week. The only thing that bothers me slightly is the shadow overlapping with the Exit sign. I think the clarity of having the two main elements-- the shadow and the sign-- distinct from one another would work better at creating that feeling of happiness. But it's a minor niggle.

This is a very arty image. I like the warm colors and composition. The soft lightning makes the picture look surrealistic.

Hi Brendan,
Here is a composition I like very much, with very nice and warm colors. This man's shadow is well framed. I also like the contrast between the bottom which is quite dark and the enlighted top.
Would you tell me what is in the background, it seems that there are several layers of something ?
Kindly
Yan
