Photographer’s Note

Yesterday, we had a TE meeting in Liege-Maastricht, organised by our friend Daniel (thank you ;-)

We went by boat to Maastricht where we had a nice lunch followed by a walking tour in the city centre.

After coming back in Liege, most of the participants had to go back home but Guy, Yves and myself went for a diner in a small and typical restaurant of the city.

After that, we went for blue hour in the city centre and then for a walk on the banks of the river Meuse.
We were there to see the bridges and their illuminations (each bridge has a different one with a lot of colours) but I choose to first present this architecture.

Curtius Palace dates from the beginning of the 17th century.
It houses the famous Curtius Museum of archaeology, weaponry, decorative arts, religious art and Mosan art and was very recently restaured. Its inauguration took place in March 2009.

Yesterday night was quite cold and I am looking forward to the summer to enjoy a walk there again by night!!!

Thank you to all those who were there for the good mood :-)
