Photographer’s Note

Thirty percent of men and 19 percent of women around the world smoke. One hundred thousand children under the age of 15 start smoking every day. One of every ten deaths around the world is caused by a smoking-related disease. With statistics like this, it's hard to imagine why smoking continues to be so widespread. In photograph a pet bird of his master is crying and I suppose she probably said her master to stop smoking.

Excellent portrait, fantastic framing and composition, great timing for the crying bird! perfect choice of b&w, amazing sharpness and overall definition! Unfortunatelly, I am a smoker, too, and although I know it's bad for me and others around me, I can't stop this bad habit, this drug. Anyway, fantastic portrait job, congratulations!
