Photographer’s Note

1 May-Labour day! usually romanians enjoy a barbeque together with friends. I usually go to the seaside but this year i had some problems and i stayed home...and..it was ok because today it rained..so..what to do? well making photos from the balcony:))

teo hi... this is one of those shots that i wish i was the one who had taken it... an eye-catching yellow cab, and very well cought moment with the splashing water... the flowers add charm as well of course... cheers...

Hi, Teodora. A very good composition with lots of diagonal lines. The contrasts are also very good with the yellow taxi standing out against the black tarmac. Of course, the flowers in the upper corner are the icing on the cake.

sigur e Bucuresti? Ca arata cam bine strada...in fine, daca lasi la o parte baltile imense(sau mai degraba raul din parte de jos):P...gata cu carcotelile. Ai de toate pe aici: culori faine, claritate, reflexii...c sa mai...e(sti) tare

Despite the rain you have a great shot, it's all about timing and framing, and look what you got....wonderful. Full with speeds, splashing water and in the corner some flowers....strange but truly wonderful.

That is what I call a good rainfall!!

Yep, not much to do with such a weather for sure. But a nice diagonal line in your compo here and the taxi is standing out against the rainy wet background :-).

What a contrast Teo! The photo is amazing, but I would like to see it even better. I would crop the top to remove that disturbing vase of flowers. It doesn't belong here, does it? :) I would crop right where the double line separating the lanes hits the corner in the right. Then I would love to see the car a bit to the bottom-left, but to achieve that you would have to shoot it a bit earlier. Can't really change that, can you... But it's wonderful. The mood and the quality of that yellow is priceless.

yep it must have been great to take pics from your window! This composition is simply great, original, something SO good I really like because of the grey background broken (in any sense) by the yellow taxi. Clever!

Nice weather to allow to take this picture I like because:
the diagonal which gives a sense of dynamism
the water splash showing that it was not a good day to go to the beach!
and the flowers which are the same colours than the car.
