Photographers Note
I had anticipated this trip for a few months, and was very anxious about the weather when we got there. After a full day of rain we were lucky to finally get a blue clear sky and white clouds like the ones I am fond of.
This colorful hill is called " The maiden's Hill " in turkish, it is not too far from the main road but there are few villages around it. Herds like this are not too common all day long , and when about a mile ahead I discovered one shepherd who was leading his sheep towards the hill, I decided to drive back and wait until he would pass from a good vantage point.

Hello Izet,
A very apt title, the striation of the colours on the side of this mountain does give this scene an other-worldly look. Good composition, the man and his sheep provide a effective impression of the vastness of the landscape.
Well done!

Hi Izzet,
Your caption captures this image perfectly, there really is something other-worldly about this shot. Those hills provide such an interesting and colourful backdrop, and the shepherd is what makes the foreground to me as it gives the whole shot a sense of life and dynamism as he herds the sheep across the plain. It could possibly do with a little sharpening, but overall I think it's a really nice image.
Cheers

Bonjour, Izzet. Cette colline multicolore est vraiment très belle. Elle se détache très bien sur ce ciel spectaculaire. Le troupeau à l'avant-plan apporte de la vie et du contraste dans l'image et donne l'échelle du paysage.
Bonne soirée,
Philippe

Hi Izzet, Splendid view. I had no idea that there are such mountains in Turkey! I thought that so colourful hills one can find only in America. The mountains itself look very attractive but the addition of the shepherd with herd makes it even more interesting. Beautiful clouds. And there is something dark green. Is it a lake?

Dear Master,
shepherd's movement and position are spectacular with your skillful layout of sheep too. Amazing landscape shows its fantastic effect here again under cotton cloudy sky. Just wonderful and impressive one! Congratulations. Have a good Sunday.

Hello Izzet,
Eye catching colorful rocks and natural sheepherd in foreground. In the U.S. we often call this rock type "painted hills". And yours is great.
Good job,

Evet kesinlikle başka bir gezegen gibi görünüyor! Keşke öyle de olsa. Fazlasıyla düşündüren bir fotoğraf. Renklerin güzel geçişlerine rağmen toprak erozyonunun en acı fotoğrafı. Vurgusuyla başarılı bir çalışma.

Merhaba dear Izzet Bey. I do miss your wonderful photos from Turkey. Now it seems, after all the hard work on TE you can sit back and watch as we keep visiting your gallery. This scene is another lesson to us about patience, anticipation and perseverance. One of the things I have learned from you is to wait until something happens. I wonder who the maiden was and what was her story. All the best. Selamlar. Klaudio.
