Another angle of the Bodie Junker. Taken with my 1.3 mp cell phone camera.There are lots of relics like this in Bodie. When the town was given up when the gold ran out, everyone left and left behind many of their belongings. If you look inside the houses here, you can see the furniture and other items left behind. It's bad luck to take anything from here, so no matter if it is the smallest of items, refuse the urge to do so. Take my word for it. I took a can lid from the ground and the last day of my trip my camera and all the film from my trip was stolen from my rental car. I threw away the lid prompto.
