Reddish orange moon Photo

Photographer’s Note

English:
When I saw the moon rising over Mühlheim, I was very surprised about its reddish orange coloration. Unfortunately I have only a 200mm lens. This is a cropped and strongly sharpened picture of the moon. Cropping, strong sharpening and adding of a simple frame. That's all. I did no saturation and no enhancement of contrasts.
You can find a picture of the moon over some houses of Mühlheim in the workshop. Due to the critique of ajayrawat, I also added the original shot without any pp-work and the cropped one without sharpening to the workshop.

Als ich den Mond über Mühlheim aufgehen sah, war ich sehr überrascht von seiner rötlich orangenen Färbung. Leider habe ich nur ein 200mm Objektiv. Dieses Bild wurde erst geschnitten und dann stark geschärft. Danach habe ich noch einen einfachen Rahmen hinzugefügt. Das war alles. An der Farbsättigung und an den Kontrasten wurde nichts geändert.
Ein Bild vom Mond und einem kleinen Teil von Mühlheim befindet sich im Workshop. Ich habe wegen der Kritik von ajayrawat nun auch noch das Originalbild ohne Nachbearbeitung und das geschnittene Bild ohne Schärfung in den Workshop gestellt.

if you had a more powerful lens you would see each stone in the moon's ground.hAHAHA
fantastic, we can see even the craters and the not perfect circular ring cause the holes and damages made. here people says it is possible to see Saint George killing the dragon in the moon, in Portugal thay said it is visible a guilted workman getting something in his back..

While it is a lovely picture, it seems more apropos for TrekNature since the moon isn't a feature of Muehlheim any more than it is a feature of anywhere else on the planet. Still gotta give you a full complement of clappies or smilies or whatever for a fine shot of Dusty Haven.

Nice capture of moon, however it is very evident that you have used PP to enhance the picture and remove the blur. But while removing blur I guess you have lost that originality and many details...that also forces me to think if these are real colours(or near to real colours).

Though I loved your framing.

Guten Morgen, Helmut!
Schön, wirklich schön! Ich hab's auch schon mit 200 mm probiert aber... Ein tolles Foto vom Erdtrabanten - irgendwie feierlich. Es ist erstaunlich, dass der Mond - auch schon in einer Sekunde - eine Strecke am Himmel zurücklegt, die die Bilder unscharf werden lässt. Auf jeden Fall ist Dir eine sehr schöne Aufnahme gelungen, die Du auch wirkungsvoll präsentierst.

Hallo Helmut,
was mich sofort beeindruckt hat, ist die ellipsoide Form dieses Mondes! Eine tolle Aufnahme, die Farben und die Bildaufteilung machen dieses Bild zu einem grafischen Kunstwerk. Glückwunsch!

Perfect photo - it looks like you have a telescope or something!
Color of the moon is superb, usually that means that tomorrow will be quite a hot day.
