Photographer’s Note

The Castle of the Pomeranian Dukes (Zamek Książąt Pomorskich) in the city of Szczecin. Viev from Kuśnierska street. In 1346 Prince Barnim III began to construct a castle which in the XVI-XVII centuries was converted to its present Renaissance form. During the World War II it suffered extensive damage. Rebuilt after war destruction it become the seat of administrative and cultural institutions. The Pomerianian Dukes Castle is one of the main centres of cultural life in Western Pomerania.

That's a very beautiful picture and it really pleases me a lot!
The vertical format and the lowest pov were great choices in here! Sharpness, exposure, depth of field and natrual colors are outstanding features in this photograph! The composition was pretty well seen, thought and done! I like seeing the architecture of that building - so interesting - and that green lawn with some yellow flowers are just perfect!

Janek ma racje, ale gdyby akurat z gory schodzila uliczka Doda w czerwonej kiecce, byloby dopiero super i ekstra, jak mawiaja nasi mlodzi przyjaciele. Ale i tak jest czadersko.

C ześć Mikołaj, To widzę jakis Tour de Pologne w twoim wyda niu. Szczecin jest malo widoczny na TE. Ja zresztą też chyba nigdy nie byłam a widzę, ze ciekawie wygląda. Fajny kadr. a najładniejsze sa te mlecze. Pozdrawiam

Eeeech te służby miejskie i inni odpowiedzialni... uwielbiam w takich miejscach takie niebieskie albo innego koloru barierki ( a zwłaszcza na tle przyrody) Jakby się człowiek nie ustawiał to i tak zawsze jakieś takie żelazo przypomina że jesteśmy w XXIw

dear Mikolaj Kawa,
my first impression is "Titanic" on the land.
this castle looks very great from this POV, like a ship.
and this white is vivid contrasted with back blue sky and fore green grass with yellow flowers.
so my title to this your shot is "spring Titanic and green wavy sea".

A strong attraction is convied by all those converging lines towards the tower.
Thanks to your 17mm for the hyperfocal-like allover sharpness and to the low angle that confers much majesty to the main scenery.
