Photographer’s Note

No, the one on the right is not the mama-They are siblings. I didn't think the small one would make it, but two days ago, he was still ok, and getting bigger, but not as big as his brother. Their Mother is not a very good one compared to the dozens of other Mothers in the rookery, but maybe she's new at it. I will go back later today to see if the little one is still there. Baby great white Egrets.

Hello Farah,
I love your title! I hope the little fellow survives - he may be tougher than he looks. A well timed shot and the birds show up well against the dark foliage in the background.

Hi Farah,
I like these birdies ;) Very good POV and natural colors.
In any case, animals (I include birds, too, in this category) are better than humans :) though their behavior sometimes looks like ours.
On second thought, I might crop a bit of the bottom...
