Photographer’s Note
A fierce electrical storm rages across Changi, near the Singapore Airport. I was lucky enough to have my camera on me when I went cycling that afternoon, and stopped for a few minutes at a canal to try and snap a bolt or three.
The lightning was actually a reddish-orange colour and not very bright. In order to capture it I had to use a high ISO (1800 on this one I think).
The result was a lot of noise, but unfortunately there was no way around it even with long exposures.

Greg,
Excellent picture, you caught the storm well, lovley and sharp, the high ISO does not seem to have caused much of a problem in this size picture. You can just feel and smell the rain on its way.
All the best
Mike

Uno de los mayores méritos de una fotografía es la oportunidad y esta foto destaca fundamentalmente por ello.

Hi Greg,
You managed to capture an excellent lightning show including interesting foreground. Much harder to accomplish than one would think, or at least I know from my own attempts.
Good job,
RAy
