Hello Roger,
The tight vertical framing is perfect, putting the emphasis on the little arched bridge and the reflection below. I like also the soft light and colours. Good sharpness. Thanks for sharing.

I totally agree with your opinion!
Never too much seeing Venice in all its glory, in an excellent picture such as this one! A very well chosen pov and the finest composition! Pretty adequate sharpness, perfect exposure, natural and beautiful colors! Of course, I couldn't let aside the reflection.. wow, I love it!

Bonjour Roger,

L'effet mirroir dans l'eau du canal est un atout à la composition. La prise de vue oermet de voir les détails et les couleurs du pont ainsi que la facade des immeubles. Les bateaux ammarés cadrent bien les maisons. La lumière environnnante rehausse les différentes teintes de couleurs de l'image. Bon dimanche.

A very attractive photo! The arch of the bridge and its reflection form kind of an eye, though which you see the small boats and the amazing clear reflection of the background house. Many details to watch in this nicely framed composition. Good natural colours and excellent sharpness. Well done!

Bonjour, Roger. Le reflet combiné avec le pont forme un cercle dans lequel les barques s'inscrivent joliment. Belles couleurs des façades avec de bons contrastes. Un coin de Venise qui ne manque pas de charme. Peut-être que l'entièreté de l'escalier sur la droite aurait été un plus?

Le petit pont qui se miroite dans l'eau provoque une forme ronde qui capture le regard.

Bonsoir Roger,

C'est du cousu-main ! Le cadrage est millimétré à voir le reflet du pont; les couleurs sont tantôt vives, tantôt douces, les détails à croquer et multiples. Les barques ajoutent une touche forcément couleur locale et avec des lignes courbes qui donnent beaucoup de perspective. C'est du beau travail, solide.

This unique image is prefectly suited for the tightly cropped vertical format that leaves nothing but the stunning reflection of this tiny arch bridge and the vivid colors of the old masonary homes.
The line of boats parked by the homes in they city of canals is really special.

Bonjour Roger.
Tu aurais pu en faire un format carré pour ne garder que le pont et son reflet, cette partie là est particulièrement belle. Dommage pour le plastique sur deux des bateaux mais tu n'y peux rien. Venise est une mine pour les photographes.

Excellently seen and captured. I liked really human sized scale there with width of canal, hight of small bridge. All main objects are matching together perfectly. You skillfuly included fantastic ambiance of Venezia with colorful facades and old texures too. Reflections on canal, boats are wonderful. Congratulations.

Excellent colors and composition to enhance the textures and shapes in this image. Were it not for the boats marking the waterline and the archway framing it, I think the buildings would simply slide into the leaden water, making the boundary between above and below indistinguishable.

Je vois 1808 sur le pont je ne sais pas si c'est sa date de construction où son numéro d'ordre dans la floppée de ponts qu'il y a à Venise, mais en tous les cas un joli cadrage sur celui-ci qui permet d'avoir un rond parfait avec ce reflet. La partie rouge donne un bon contraste à l'image. Bel et agréable endroit, merci Roger.

I like a lot the mirror effect in the calmed water of the "canale", it's so clear and perfect.
