Photographer’s Note
Death Valley, CA. along Bad Water Road, not much is growing there except rocks and a few desert plants. This is a field of dry salt and behind orange rocks, with the mountain in the background. We stayed only one day in this place where the temperature was about 47°C on that day.

Hello Nina,
Simple but effective image, catching the spirit of Death Valley in summer.
Ray
PS: Death Valley is much more pleasant in the winter when daytime highs are usually less than 80 degrees fahrenheit. Summer is definitely not a good time to visit, it is the hottest place in North America!
