Photographer’s Note
Another landmark of London. This is the entrance to the Tower of London. It consists of two towered gates, connected with a bridge over a ditch which in former times has been filled with water from the Thames. The gated towers are called Byward Tower and Middle Tower.
Guards still guard the entrance, sometimes searching in visitors' bags for a hidden bomb or other weapon.

Hallo Anton!
You show us a famous place but until now I haven't seen much photos of it. Really impressive and somehow daunting building - obviously a mere functional building. Your point of view was skillfully chosen - in order to show more of the facilty and to create a good depth. Thank you for showing!
Greetings from warm (23°C!) and sunny Germany!

Anton,
This is a well composed shot of the Tower of London. Your have chosen a nice POV for this scene showing the entrance gate and the fortress. The lighting and colors are fine with excellent sharpness and detail. The angle of the light works well creating long shadows with good contrast.

Hi, Anton. The white stone of the towers stands out very well against the green grass and the blue sky. The towers also give a good depth to the picture. The composition is well balanced with the towers on the right and the other buildings in the background on the left.
Have a nice evening,
Philippe

Hello Anton,
The gate is open and no crocodiles in the ditch, so what is the problem hehehe!
The point of view works well to show the arrangement, and the castle is recorded with fine details...
I guess this was an impressive fortress back when the weapons of possible attackers were so-so...!
Greetings,

Hello Anton,
Sensational light conditions to show the cylindrical perspective and shading aspects of the architectural portrait. I am surprised that the guards only sometimes search visitors' bags. Warm regards,
Bulent
