Photographer’s Note

So today is Orthodox Easter, which means that all churches are working quite busy, television was broadcasting all night Easter Mass in the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour in Moscow (attended by President Medvedev, Prime minister Putin and others), all supermarkets were selling last two weeks the eggs in innumerable amounts and eggs-decorating kits as well.
Orthodox Easter is quite interesting celebration, in, you know, Orthodox way.
***
In USSR times Easter was unofficial (despite the fact that still everyone painted eggs and made special Easter cookies, they even were sold in the shops, named "Spring Cookie").
Today it's one of the official state celebrations.
Quite ironic, all this!
Happy Easter, all ye, unhappy Unorthodox viewers!
