Photographer’s Note
I've always been a sucker for flowing water shots, and when the opportunity reared itself on this trip to Whistler- I could not resist.
People may be wondering about the water milkiness and color of the water, this cloudiness is a common Rocky mountain water trait caused by rock (or glacial) flour. The rock flour is a result of the glacial grinding which then becomes suspended in the water creating this milky effect.
I hope you like the shot,
- Dan

Your right, Dan, and your photo shows it, flowing water has a special value. Deep in our brains we know it´s necessary to survive. The concept of beauty has a lot to do with this matter, a "beautiful" landscape also is one which promises a better living (although I also like deserts).
Compliments, Christian

Hello Dan! I always like when people add a silky coat to the water, it gives a wonderful counter point to the rocks and how they stand there as ever peaking out of the water. The rocks are really beautiful, each has an own history. Very nice work, I like it a lot. Barbara.

Hi Dan
A nice balance between the steadfast rocks and the flowing water. There appears to be a slight bit of sun touching some of the rocks. Very nicely done.
