Photographer’s Note
I took this shot in the late afternoon from my sea kayak. The first thing I thought on arrival was, those trees casting a shadow need to be chainsawed...these carvings were done in the 1970's. Quite impressive, esp up close. Situated at the north end of lake Taupo, about an hours paddle from Acacia Bay. Only accessable by boat

Welcome to TE community. Your 1st post entry is a promising start of a nice shot of the river.
A good timed moment to wait for the kayak to be under the wall with its carving. It is not easy to shoot from another kayak but you did well with this sharp focus.
