Photographer’s Note
I'm pleased to introduce you Beira, a small town along the sea in Central Mozambique. I moved here one month ago and find this quiet city really nice with its old Portuguese architecture, its nice and calm people.
It reminds me partly Angola with its mix of people from different origins. Few days before, I was in Johannesburg and I was stroke by the way black and white people still live separately. Here, I don't feel that separation.
The City is small but full of nice events : people chatting under the shadows of nice large trees, religious ceremonies along the sea, fishermen everywhere at sunrise or sunset and kids training at the beach. Here, I met a small group of Capoeiristas training at the beach. I was really impressed by their skills : jumps, tricks, speed. They really master their art.

Hi Steve,
A wonderful dynamic scene on the beach. I like the long shadows and late light. A place that makes me interested to visit.
cheers,
Cristian

Bonjour Steven,

Cordialement,
Raphael

Hi Steven,
Very nice low POV and authentical scenery.
Good to read that there is a place were people from different origins can live together in peace and harmony - especially in Africa. Well done. TFS
Thomas
