Photographer’s Note
I have driven past this bridge, countless times over the years, as I travel between New York and Southern Vermont. This is the very first time I have ever stopped to get a close look at it. It was built in 1852. It crosses the Battenkill River into a small dead-end community that is home to an old church, a few houses, a farm and an inn.
