Photographer’s Note
A shot of the Mecca mosque at Charminar during our recent photo visit. After the bomb blasts they have banned cameras inside the mosque. So we could only get this view from the top of the Charminar.
Mecca Masjid is one of the oldest mosques and the biggest mosque located in Hyderabad, India. The mosque is believed to contain sacred relics, one of which is a hair of the Prophet Muhammad. Part of the mosque has bricks brought from holy city of Mecca which are part of the central arch. The mosque is adorned with Belgian crystal chandeliers.
It is located close to the historic landmarks such as Charminar, Chowmahalla Palace and Laad Bazaar.

Hello Sreya !
Yes, I have been watching this theme and your notes are helpful to gather some new facts about these heritage-buildings.
Have also tried one workshop for this.

Hi Sreya,
a beautiful insight of this mosque which seems a little different than those I've visited in the UAE. Good color contrast between the mosque and the sky in earth toning.
Cheers and have a nice day,
Edi

Hello Sreya, beautiful picture of mecca masjid. Nice soft color tone to highlight the texture of the building.

Hello Sreya
I did not know about this mosque before, even though I visited Hyderabad a couple of times (maybe I didn't explore much because I had no camera with me). The pastel hue in the sky is an asset here. Exposure is good as we see the details on the mosque even if it's darkish. Well done!
Regards
Angshu
