The Hermitage: Hall of Antiquities Photo

Photographer’s Note

Here are the photo of one of the halls on the Hermitage Museum first floor - some of the people who visited The Hermitage don't even know that underneath all the halls with the collections of fine arts from XVI-XIX century there are equal in size floors with the antiquities - mostly Roman and Greek ones.

Hello night piercing eyes,

A good low perspective to give a lot of space to the bright ceiling and its play of light. Fine colours and details so well rendered. Am looking forward to my visit in July!
