Photographer’s Note
For adults, it is a place to view one of the world's great monuments. Some have dreamed all their lives of the day they would come see it, and immerse themselves in the culture and beauty that make Paris.
For a kid, well, it's a great spot for roller blading.

Hello Ken! Yes it is one of THESE things that makes your heart jump a little and whenever I return I have the same feeling again. Sometimes the Eiffel tower is hidden by a house and you think where is it now but then you stand under it or beside it and it is really great. Yes roller blading is a big thing (and buying or rather not buying little Eiffel towers that you can put in your book shelf ...) and I was a little scared to get run over :))) Very nice shot, très Parisien ... Happy Easter, I have found some eggs this morning ... Barbara.

in this B&W, this dark cloud is welcomed to add some more contrast

A great composition, Ken. Three the elements I can see: the monumental, strong element of the Tour Eiffel; the dramatic sky. And...oh, the kid. With his joy, his candour, his wonderful play. A great contrast and I love it! Bravo!

Hello Ken,
Excellent shot, with a succinct and engaging note. In b&w it works specially well. There is little doubt that this is one of your favorite cities in the world.
Warm regards,

Une photo classique, avec un bon noir et blanc,je crois que j'aurais décalé le personnage ?

Hi Ken,
Firstly I like that dark grey brooding cloud behind the tower and then the kid and his reflection in the smooth surface in the foreground is another nice aspect. I somehow like that you have placed the Eiffel tower and the kid right in the middle of the composition, it works for your shot.
Regards
Wanda
