Photographer’s Note

I took this in Arches National Park in the late afternoon. All the shadows were really intense and interesting, and I tried to capture this aspect in particular by using black and white. Hope you like it!

I especially like the foreground composition and the sky. Also a nice effort at B/W format to accentuate the shadows. The dark shadow in the center is a little distracting, for me at least. Still a worthy effort.

Great use of the black and white here, usually the great colors and contrast of the rocks against the sky, are the main subject of the most pictures, so your gray POV is original and very well handled.
