The tradition of painting eggs for Easter is one of the most beautiful in my country and in many other countries
I remember what the woman-artist told me in that day :
"Hold the egg in one hand. With brush and acrylic, paint the egg with floral or geometric models and everything will be very easy "
Easy for her but I've been trying for years and no results ...

Hello Isabela!

How similar are the traditions in the countries of the Balkans! Since I was a kid, I remember my grandmother and my mother painting eggs, exactly the same way that you show us in your photo! Excellent capture, perfect tight framing, flawless light managment, but most important, excellent subject! Congratulations!

Here are great sharpness and dof in the photo! (though the light could (or could not?) be better >:P)

beautiful close up isa... i have colourful easter eggs that i had bought in cluj napoca, wooden ones, and kuzey loves playing with them:)... happy easter to you all...

Well, you're right, it's easy for her! I like the way you show every detail of her well-practiced hands, and of the egg, but everything else is blurred out. We can see how she braces the hand holding the brush, using her little finger. Not a single stroke of paint goes astray! Regards, Ken.
