Bonjour

L’arbre qui voulait marcher avec les hommes !!

Une grosse ambiance dans le Sud Vercors au pays du Mont-Aiguille. La météo l’avait annoncé: un vent glacial en crêtes et de rares instants pour le soleil. Le créneau était donc idéal. Comme prévu, je n’ai pas vu grand-chose ce petit matin, mais le peu fut intense !
J’avais repéré cet arbuste, narguant le vent et la neige, son petit coté taquin, sa démarche féminine m’avaient enchanté. N’a-t-il pas l’air heureux dans la tempête, l’écharpe au vent !!!
Je ne vous ferai pas l’affront de vous nommer le sommet au second plan !!
dans le WS, incroyable, Jean René se prend pour un arbre !

The tree which wanted to work with the men !!

A great atmosphetre in the South of Vercors. The weather had announced it: an icy wind in peaks and rare moments for the sun. The crenel was thus ideal. As envisaged, I did not see large-thing this early morning, but the little was intense!
I had located this shrub, smiling with the wind and snow, his funy attitude, its step female had enchanted me. It does not have the happy air in the storm, the scarf in the wind!!!
I will not make you the affront be named the top in the second plan!!

j'ouvre et hop je tombe sur ta photo dans la galerie.... je te l'ai volé en préféré... trop top ! sur les toits du monde bien sur !
J'aime sa compo, le premier plan est super sans parler des nuages... un paysage qu'on croirait sorti d'une BD.

magnifique ce ciel tourmenté. Il est comme je les aime.
J'aime aussi les Alpes, aussi retournerai-je en Suisse cette année.
Scène à l'aspect dramatique où cet arbre qui semble gambader y trouve sans doute sa joie de pousser.

Bonjour Alain,

Typiquement le genre d image de montagne que j aime. Comme tu l as ecrit, une grosse ambiance avec un fort vent qui devait necessiter le port du masque pour proteger les yeux. Le WS, tres reussi lui aussi, donne je pense un meilleur apercu de ce a quoi la journée a du ressembler.
Il fallait etre motivé pour aller se promener ce jour la, mais les photos rapportées justifient largement la sortie. Ce drole d arbre etait une benediction que tu as sur parfaitement exploiter dans 2 registres differents.

Bonjour Alain,
Pour moi qui le connais bien, je dirais que le Mont Aiguille est encore plus beau sous ce ciel tourmenté. On entend presque le vent et il est en tout cas facile de l'imaginer avec ces nuages et la manière dont le givre est figé sur l'arbre qui voulait marcher avec les hommes.
Le WS avec l'arbre Jean-René est amusant.
Très belle manière de commencer la matinée.

tu ne pouvais pas trouver mieux comme premier plan , cet arbre est certainement la reincarnation d'un ou d'une montagnarde qui hante les lieux, l'ambiance est grandiose.

Tout y met pour une très bonne photo, un superbe avant plan avec un sujet principal qui accroche et laisse place à l'imagination. Le second plan est un superbe paysage, j'aime beaucoup ton choix de profondeur de champs qui donne une très bonne netteté sur l'ensemble permettant à l'oeil de se ballader sur la photo un peu partout pour en apprécier les détails. Les condition météo donne ici un ciel superbe et très expressif.
Du très bon boulot!

Bonjour, Alain. Il fallait l'avoir repéré et penser à y passer quand les conditions météo étaient idéales. Et tu l'as fait. L'exposition est très bien gérée et permet à notre Miss Vercors de bien se détacher sur le ciel. Très bien vu.

The diagonal line of the snow covered hill works well.I get the impression of a very cold and windy day.
The angry sky over the dark mountains is wonderful, and the small bare tree was a gift for your composition.

Ton jardin est bien décoré ( c'est bien ton jardin , non ? ) , et en plus ça change des nains en porcelaine . La cryogénisation semble bien réussie , j'espère que tes petits doigts ont résisté à l'épreuve , et que tu n'a pas abimé mon gestionnaire-de-réseaux-devenu-banquier favori.

I like your 'Giacometti tree' very much. (And, your English is much better than Tarzan’s.) I’m looking forward to visiting this 'guy' in May. During our drive down from Brussels we intend to stay a few days in the Vercors, on our way to Peynier.

tiens donc, j'ai comme l'impression de le connaitre ce petit arbre bien sympa ! Ta vue me rappelle une photo que j'avais posté sur TE avec moins de succès et surtout des conditions de lumière beaucoup moins intéressantes que les tiennes. Il est vrai que cet arbre possède une silhouette caractéristique très attrayante !
Faudrait que j'y retourne maintenant que la route devrait être ouverte à partir du 15.

Ce "bonhomme de neige" plus ténu que ses confrères habituels, est spirituel à souhait et amplifie la profondeur du paysage dramatique, au ciel très tourmenté. Belle maîtrise technique malgré une lumière difficile. Bien vu et réalisé.

It's a amazing how lifelike this "stick lady" looks, in this cold and severe landscape. A cartoonist could not have drawn her better! It helps that you set her "head" and "arms" against the darkest cloud. Regards, Ken.

Il fallait vraiment le dénicher cet arbre-homme, sorte de sculpture fil de fer,qui se détache superbement sur cet arrière plan au ciel peu engageant. Quelles que soient les conditions météo, tu arrives toujours à trouver LA photo.

Ne me dit pas que c'est le Mont Aiguille en second plan je ne te croirais pas !!!! Bon trêve de plaisanterie, une photo superbe, un ciel comme on aimerait en voir plus souvent (sur les photos !) et cet arbuste qui se prend pour un homme : très bien vu.
Dans 12 jours je serai au cœur de ma Drôme provençale et compte bien faire une petite escapade dans le Vercors.

I like this kind of humor sense in presenting such a fine capture of natural scenery when you actually observe and spot a great subject as FG feature to this lovely landscape view. Whereas some people may just pass it without noticing such a nice twist of branches to form a very interesting dancing or welcome pose.

Very imaginative shot and one which I really like, in addition to the superb view of the mountains.

I see that while I was away you have continued posting this series of high mountains scenery...
Here again you are showing us an enchanted and superb environment in a masterful composition that took advantage by this strange tree. But the real protagonist of the tale is that incredible mountain at the center with that dramatic sky above.

what can one say..this one is the best compo i have seen for months..the twigs forming the shape of a woman,well almost in the act of a dance..its the way your mind and heart has trained your eye to see...

great sense of realism in the otherwise barren..lifeless world..

une photo, une fois n'est pas coutume, un peu trop "post-traitée" à mon goût, au niveau du ciel. Mais le 1er plan et cette croix naturelle recouverte d'une neige horizontale en dit long sur les conditions climatiques extrêmes!

ça doit faire plaisir de rencontrer un tel bout en train au milieu des éléments déchaînés (remarque, visiblement, il y avait un autre bout en train concurrent avec toi).

I want to express my admiration for this exceptional photograph. Astonishing atmosphere and a frame wisely selected with humorous content.
The wind blows away the snow and makes the effect so beautiful!
The silhouette of the tree contrasts perfectly to the dark background and the shade on the snow underlines the human hypostasis you referred to.
