Photographer’s Note

This is one from my archives. I made this one with my compact Minolta Z1, my first digital camera.
It is like they make a competition of who is having the most outrageous customized jeep in the Philippines. This is probably one of the most colorful ones I've ever seen there. I shot this one near Lucban, Quezon Province. Lucban is a small historic town at the east side of Mt. Banahaw and so also near the east coast of Luzon. There are still some left overs of the Spanish influence to be seen in this town like the church and the canals. Luckily there is not much traffic in this town unlike other cities in the Philippines which have the tendency to be noisy and polluted.
