Blue or Green Photo

Photographer’s Note

Esta pequeña ranita es llamada (de 2cm de largo) "blue jean" o rana de dardo, ya que es venenosa y era utilizada por los nativos para envenenar sus dardos. Existen dos variedades, la blue jean y la de pantalones verdes... incluso creo que esta es una de pantalones verdes. La foto la tomé en el zoologico de San Jose.

This little frog (less than 1 inch length) is called "blue jean frog" or "dart frog", as it is poisonous and it was used by natives to poison their darts. There are two varieties, blue jean and green pants... I think this is a green one. The photo was taken at the zoo in San Jose.

Cool shot! The frog is a little out of focus, but I understand how hard it is to capture something that just won't sit STILL! Perhaps placing your camera's focus options to continuous as this tracks motion better and keeps your subject sharp. You handled the colors very well!
