Photographer’s Note

L'Umbracle is the gate of entry to the City of Arts and Sciences, a green area of free access to 7,000 square meters, 320 meters long and 60 meters wide.

L'Umbracle is formed by a succession of 55 fixed arches and 54 floating arches of 18 meters in height. These plants grow on vines, which provide shade throughout the landscaped walkway, giving the appearance of L'Umbracle "Winter Garden" Novecento.

The vertical presentation works well to get an artistic repetition. a smaller aperture may also be considered for the exposure, but still a very good shot.

I have glanced through your gallery and immediately added you to my private list - you seem to have very good observation on graphic forms and patterns of color that you create your subject for photography and I am impressed.

This is a good example of how you can select your POV out of the structural and aesthetics of the modern building and using the color in bright light to make your shot. Good depth and sharpness.

Pero bueno Don Luis!!

Perfecta definición, perfecto encuadre y colores..la parte superior sobre todo es hipnótica!! Muy buena la definición que has conseguido en esa parte, creo que bastante difícil!

Un potente efecto gráfico que queda roto ( en el buen sentido) y complementado por la figura...sí me gusta mucho...ya tengo ganas de volver a Valencia... Mañana estaré cerquita!!!

Sin duda de que una toma como ésta impresiona e hipnotiza. El encuadre perfecto y la composición con esta estrella azul, rompe la simetría de las curvas, de una forma armónica.

The architecture here is interesting with all it's lines and angles. Your composition and POV is great giving us an upward view of this structure. The lighting and colors are great with nice sharpness and detail.

Hola Luis, buena foto, yo realicé una similar y no he conseguido la nitidez y calidad de ésta. Me gusta el ángulo frontal que has elegido y la forma en la que los arcos se hacen los protagonistas de la imagen dejando pequeñas las palmeras y lo que parece una toma de ventilación del S XXV.
