Chao Phraya Sunset Photo

Photographer’s Note

In this spot, i have waited for a boat that carries commuters along Chao Phraya river on my way to Wat Arun. I took this shot while enjoying the breeze after a heavy rain and before sun down.

By the way, that little boat is most noisy boat i've ever seen, but i enjoy the view.

Hi Albert!
That's a very pleasant, attractive and truly beautiful picture!
Sharpness is pretty adequate to the image, exposure is correct, colors are natural and beautiful! The viewpoint was very well chosen and the composition is pretty effective, though simple! I specially enjoyed the moving boat and the reflection of the yellow sun on the water surface and thru the silhouettes of that "pier"!

Your photo depicts tranquillity. The soft colours please the eye. The silvery cast sea adds wealth in this composition.

:_) Next time I am in Bangkok, I know who to ask for sunset view! I like your well composed of this evening sky color tone to show such a superb sunset glow in this yet-to-set sun, but which really gives very good reflection on the water. I find the backlit of the floating shed to be most interesting feature and perhaps the best of this composition.

Sawadee Albert,
A beautiful sunset scene, unmistakeably of Bangkok, even if it hadn't that long tail boat, which is so noisy as it is colourful and charming. It's very well composed and the light and colours are stunning. It's remarkable how the buildings on the other side of the river weren't reduced to simple silhouettes, having the sun in front of the camera.
I believe that the tower in the middle of the BG is of the Portuguese church of Santa Cruz, right?

Perfect setting for the sunset image. The ambiance in the sky perfectly anchored with the activities around this majestic river. I like the boat reaching for the ramo in fine details.
