At first there blows a gentle breeze
And the leaves on the trees
Softly flutter or sway;
Out there, far away,
The bells of water carriers incessantly ring;

Then suddenly birds fly by,
Flocks of birds, high up, in a hue and cry
While nets are drawn in the fishing grounds
And a woman's feet begin to dabble in the water.

The Grand Bazaar is serene and cool,
A hubbub at the hub of the market,
Mosque yards are brimful of pigeons,
At the docks while hammers bang and clang
Spring winds bear the smell of sweat;

Still giddy since bygone bacchanals,
A seaside mansion with dingy boathouses is fast asleep,
Amid the din and drone of southern winds, reposed,

Now a dainty girl walks by on the sidewalk:
Cusswords, tunes and songs, malapert remarks;
Something falls on the ground out of her hand,
It's a rose I guess.

Güzel Şehir Istanbul,birde böyle uzaktan fotoğrafı seyredersen,Orhan Veli'yide üstüne okursan özlemin başlar buraya.Bende en çok ıstanbul'u yaya gezmeyi,ilgisiz sokaklarda yürümeyi severim.Sonra bir yerde oturup vapurların geliş-gidişleri,düdükleri heyecanladırır,duramam kalkarım.Harika bir kadraj ile Istanbul'u sunmuşsun,tebrikler,sağlıklı günler.

I like the fg reflection & boat. The lighthouse on the rocky island in the distance, makes a good focal point. Good dof, sharpness & framing, with the oof man at left adding interest. Tfs!

Beautiful clear crips foreground colors that give way gently to the softer cool blue tones of the harbor and sky that lead nicely to the beautiful city.

Hello Burak,
I understand that the image match the poem or song very nicely, however, I am not sure I care of the little piece of the man's blur face is effective, The rest of the image is so sharp and nice and a good composition in itself. I'm sure you planned it, and maybe it's you on the photo, but to me it still looks more like an accident that someone walked into you image. I think it would be rather more interesting to catch a man standing a bit further away partially looking into the scenery that would have fit the note very well too. regardless, this is just my hummlbe opinion, the shot is still good. Thanks

Honestly, I don't like so much the sight of the blurred half face on the FG, but I think that it is very important conveying the title and reinforcing one of the features I like the most, the aligment of the boats and rocks of the FG with the tower on the middle and the taller buildings of the BG.

önemli olan "istanbul listening to you" bunu becebiliyorsan tamadır usta...

soldaki adam kadraja birden girmiş gibi ama olsun onunda hakkı bi kadraja sap... yok neydi , dahil, dahil olmak dimiii..

bu arada geri plan SPR ve yakın plan FFR gerçekten enfes eline sağlık...

Une image qui sort de l'ordinaire, mais j'aime quand l'on s'échappe des règles établies. Il y a de l'audace et c'est important.
Le regard porté au premier plan prend une autre dimension avec l'environnement.
Une image qui ne peut laisser indifférent.

A very interesting image which goes with the poem you've mentioned in the note. But I'm not too sure whether the man being in OOF helps. Possibly better if he was in focus? Or is it some thought of yours which made you take the shot like this?
