Photographer’s Note
Taken from the road above Lochan Urr in lower Glen Etive in early evening.
The gold colour was produced by the low sunlight from the right on the side of the hills above being reflected in the loch.
Only lasted for a few minutes from this angle so snapped from the car before carrying on down the glen.

Fabulous, what a contrast of colour from the hill and quick work catching it. I love some of the reflections you get in the glens but this one is extra ordinary.
Is that frost on the ground or just a result of the different colours?

Hi Dougie
A very nice capture and a good contrast between the cold snow covered surroundings and the warm colours of the Loch. Well done.

No wonder you stopped, Dougie. It's a scene to relish. The clear reflection of the trees is the magic element which I think would benefit from a little cropping at the top, but that's a very minor criticism.

This is a beauty, Dougie.
I love the contrasts in what appears to be frost on the trees and grass and that brilliant warm reflection of gold on the water. What a view. Very nicely done! Many thanks and kind regards,
Shelly
