Photographer’s Note

Fiastra Abbey Nature Reserve is one of the main tourists' destinations in the territory of the province of Macerata. It is situated in the Valley of river Fiastra, three km far from the exit "Macerata Ovest" of the motorway link road Civitanova-Tolentino. Fiastra Abbey Nature Reserve preserves both the spirit of the past and the beauty of the natural environment in one area.
The numerous footpaths that start from the Abbey of Chiaravalle di Fiastra, the historical heart of the Reserve, are fascinating and easy to go along.

In the Tourists' Information Office situated in front of the Abbey (tel. +39.0733.202.942), please find maps and brochures that will help you to discover the beauties of the area.
