"Unknown" Venice Photo

Photographer’s Note

Unknown Venice. This is actually Piazza San Marco, one of the most photographed places in the world.
Here I tried to take an original picture of this place, assuming that this is possible. A view which is not usually shown.

splendida questa prospettiva schiacciata dal tele, di grande impatto visivo ed effetto grafico. Deliziosa, come unica nota di colore, la nostra bella bandiera.

Indeed an original shot of this piazza, wouldn't recognize it.

Yes, this is an original capture of Piazza San Marco, I have not seen anything like it before.
Such wonderful detail in the facade of this beautiful building, all those arches, incredible.

Forte.
Mi piace molto le line orizontale, che sono leggermente storti.
Poi Archi e colone in marmo un classico al occhio, ma la bandiera? Forse rompi la monotania e aggungi un po di colore o forse e un distrazione. Boh! Communque e una bella foto e hai provato un po di originalita.

Bravo pour cette prise de vue très graphique avec une belle diagonale .Le drapeau par ses couleurs anime celles de l'édifice ,c'est la touche qui fait le plus de cette photo .Superbe

Hello Stefano,

I had not recognised the Piazza San Marco although I spent some times there 7 years ago.
You successed to find a very graphical composition with the graphical effect provided by the grey pattern of the front, broken by the vivid colors of the flag.
I like this kind of photos sharing an other vision of so well known place.

Ciao Stefano.
Quando vedo certe foto, mi vien voglia di appendere la fotocamera al chiodo, mi sento negato.
La prospettiva tele ha conservato, anche se attenuato, le linee di fuga, dunque la foto resta dinamica, e la bandiera che sventola porta insieme una macchia di colore ed un elemento di movimento.
Con benevola invidia.
